Mother of God School is supported by the Family School Partnership program.
The program supports our endeavours to strengthen learning partnerships between our school and families by building the capacity of parents to actively engage in their children’s learning. Our Family School Partnerships Leader works with our school in developing programs to support families in this endeavour.
At Mother of God we do this through:
- Community Conversations that focus on developing shared understandings (parents, students and staff) of contemporary learning.
- Learning Walks and Open Classroom events that allow parents to see and experience what day to day learning looks like
- School Community Garden: the school community garden is the focus of our whole-school horticulture and sustainability program (Prep-6). Our aim is to develop an ownership of the garden by our families.
